The best weight loss plan is one that does not force the body to lose weight.  There are principles to losing weight and when those principles are lined up, then your body will want to let go of the weight.

What are those principles?

1- You must be healthy to lose weight – you don’t lose weight to get healthy. We know you may have never heard that before!

2- Reduce your calories!  No, it is not about reducing your calories, it is about the nutrients in those calories in the foods you eat and your hormones.

3- Exercise!  Why should you exercise?
The reason to exercise is NOT TO BURN CALORIES.   The reason to exercise is to increase the number of mitochondria in your cells, to increase stimulation of your fat burning hormones and to increase the fat-burning hormone production.  It works only if you do it correctly.

4- Are you getting enough and is it “good quality” sleep?
Growth Hormone is a major fat burning hormone and it is activated at night – not during the day.  It is anti-aging hormone and it decreases with time (as we get older.)

Being one of the most important to activate, if you are not sleeping, you are not generating sufficient amounts of GH!  This is such a big problem for so many menopausal women!  Your weight loss efforts will be a huge waste of time!

5- Detox
The liver is the major hub of most of your toxins and poisons – referring to the pesticides, the herbicides, the preservatives in our food, fungicides, heavy metals.   All of these poisons build up in your body.

So why is this important?  Your liver is also the hub of all of your fat burning hormones.  Eighty percent of the thyroid hormones are activated through the liver.

6- What are hormone disruptors?

If after dieting, exercising and doing all the right things and you still don’t see any weight loss – you don’t have to look too far.  You are currently being exposed to plenty of synthetic environmental hormones on a daily basis.
