Most people need to get 8 hours of sleep to feel rested.  Children and babies need much more than that.  If you are getting enough hours of sleep and good quality sleep, your body is restoring, repairing and rejuvenating for your health.


It is important for your immune system to stay healthy and it helps slow down the aging process.  Sleeplessness increases your risk for certain diseases.


Not getting enough sleep affects every aspect of your life:  your job, your relationships, your safety, your weight, your perception, your mental state and more.
